Analysis

Head-to-head record 0:0

This is going to be a match between 2 giant players whose main weapons are big serve and killing forehand. We chose Greek player from several reasons - there is no doubt that Economidis is the better clay courter than his Aussie opponent. Guccione played well in the second half of last year when he won several clay challengers. His serve was almost unbreakable and he won most of his matches in tiebreaks. But he seems to be in a much worse shape this year. His claycourt record is far from being good (he was defeated by Delgado, Alvarez, Crivoi and Balleret on clay this year). His claycourt victories over Hamui, Sijsling, Rojer and Lorenzi can hardly be taken into account. Economidis advanced from qualifiers pretty easily defeating Knittel, Vagnozzi and M.Lopez and especially last 2 matches must have increased his self confidence. We think that winning chances are 60:40 in Greek´s favour and that is why there should be a value in all odds above 1.8.

Final result: 7:6,4:6,4:6,1:6 - wager won
