Analysis

Head-to-head record 1:6

American bomber Andy Roddick has won 6 of 7 matches he played against Argentinian claycourter Juan Ignatio Chela. But this shouldn´t be considered as a deciding factor since all of these matches were played on hardcourts (mostly in United States or Canada). Of course, Chela can hardly beat Roddick on US hardcourts but this match is going to be played under the completely different conditions. Roddick hates the European clay and the fact that his play is based mostly on perfect serving is well known. Even if he is currently showing some decent signs of improvement on the slowest surface, we don´t think that he will be able to beat Argentinian clay specialist today. Chela defeated Andreev yesterday and he played really well in that match (except firts 3 games). He is definitely capable to improve H2H record with Roddick today and he should be much bigger favourite in this match. Odds above 1.7 are surely worth of considering here.

Result: 6:0, 7:6 - wager won
