ATP predictions (French Open)

Please, consider these to be our unofficial picks. We didn´t take the prices into account and it is possible that official picks will come yet (and they even may differ if the odds are crazy). These comments are more or less our tentative predictions. With last 6 players in the game, we wanted to share our opinion with you.

Soderling - semifinal - His stellar run will end up in semifinal. He demolished 3 defensive counterpunchers in a row but struggled against offensive players in the first rounds. Gonzo will beat the soul out of Swede.

Gonzalez - runner up - Best forehand in the World and unrivaled clay court experience make him one the the biggest favourites. He will play the final.

Del Potro - winner - He is the one who the future belongs to. If not this year, he is surely going to win one day. Forget Murray or Djokovic, Del Potro is the future star. He will get past Robredo and probably play his Nemesis in semis. He is 0-5 down against Fedex but it´s the time to break it. Our secret favourite.

Federer - semifinal - Many consider him to be the biggest favourite but he is not playing his best. He has been struggling in previous rounds and we expect him to have the problems against both Monfils and Del Potro. Second named will be the end station for Fedex.

Monfils - quarterfinal - Being pushed forward by frenetic crowd, he will give hard times to Roger. We expect a tight match as Monfils will exploit the energy of crowd and play his best tennis. Not sure if it is going to be enough to beat Fedex. Swiss will probably manage it.

Robredo - quarterfinal - Experienced Spanish warhorse has probably reached his maximum. He has nothing to bother Del Potro in quarters.
