Year 2011 Summary

Dear TFB subscribers,

Please, let us take this opportunity to thank you again for a long-term favor and the loyalty you have been showing. As every year, we would like to glance back briefly in the following lines.

In 2011, we have placed 191 bets with the total yield of 1.7%. Our overall yield remains at 14% but when compared to the previous years, this was by far the worst season we ever had. We are in green numbers again but we cannot be happy with the numbers reached.

The season of 2011 was dominated by Novak Djokovic who has won 3 grandslam titles and his overall record of 70-6 was breath taking. Generally said, there has unfortunately not been too many surprising results and all major titles were conquered by the favourites. In fact, all nine ATP 1000 tournaments have ben won by one of the top 4 players (Djokovic 5, Murray 2, Nadal 1, Federer 1). The same can be said about all grandslam tournaments (Djokovic 3, Nadal 1) and ATP World Tour Finals (Federer).

This is not a good news for both tennis backers and fans as all seems to be going a clear way with quite a few surprising results. Bearing this fact in mind, we will probably focus more on WTA circuit which seems to be more interesting from this point of view.

We hope that the next year will be much better and that we´ll continue the way we´ve started.
