Our second bet this week is match between Austrian lady Patricia Mayr and Laura Pous Tio from Spain in the first round of Acapulco tournament. Pous Tio represents classic Spanish clay school - to her virtues belong fast legs and overall good physical preparedness. She spent most of her career on ITF circuit and her career high ranking was No. 74, achieved in 2005. She played some good tennis in Bogota and Cali this month and this is exactly what her self-confidence needed and we believe she is able to make it at least to the second round here. Her opponent will be Patricia Mayr who is the player of similar qualities. She hasn’t been playing in a good shape lately (she lost to O’Brien at Australian Open, to Zakopalova in Cali and to Parra Santonja in Bogota) and it is hard to find a reason she is such a big favourite here. Odds above 2.2 are good enough for us.
