| Analysis | Head-to-head record 0:0 Italian Simone Bolelli will fight Ukrainian Illya Marchenko in the opening round of Zagreb Indoor tournament. Simone considers his forehand his best shot, plays right-handed and has a double-handed backhand. Bolelli is not a typical Italian player having a solid serve and playing well on fast surfaces as well as on clay. But he lost his last eight matches – lost to Gicquel (0:3) at Australian Open and to Nadal (0:2) at Doha this year. His last winning match is with Andreas Beck in New Haven 2009. Illya Marchenko is a player of solid potential. He has been successful on challenger level last year and marched through the qualifiers at Auzzie Open in style (beating Dasnieres De Veigy, Ward and Millman easily), he defeated Carlos Moya in the first round and lost to Davydenko in second. We don´t think Italian player is a favourite here and will take anything above 1.9 on Marchenko. |
