| Analysis | Head-to-head record 12:0 Maybe you think we went mad with today´s pick but we simply must try Russian today. Unlucky Davydenko will play the biggest Masters Cup favorite Roder Federer, the player he has never beaten even if he has played him 12 times! Anyway, we were absolutely impressed by the way Davydenko played in the group stage. There are no weaknesses we could point out in Davydenko´s current game and he seems to be on top again. He defeated Nadal and Soderling and fell to Djokovic in three sets. Federer, on the other hand, wasn´t as impressive for us. Many people already see Federer with the trophy in his hands. We however don’t think this semifinal match will be easy. Many sports analysts, tennis critics, and former and current players consider Federer to be the greatest tennis player of all time and we agree with them. However, nobody is unbeatable and for what he has done to Andy Murray in the match with Del Potro, he doesn’t deserve to win the tournament – we are talking about his scamping in the 7th game of deciding set. We don´t want to speculate and touch his conscience but what a coincidence that there was a happy end for both players. Never mind, we are simply not convinced Federer should be such a big favourite against in-form Russian. Odds around 4 are worth trying. |
