| Analysis | Head-to-head record 0:0 German Benjamin Becker will play experienced Spaniard Tommy Robredo in the first round. There is no need to introduce Robredo and his tennis skills. He is much more experienced player than Becker but it´s clear that Robredo is not at his best. His latest results weren’t impressive and he is becoming too inconsistent for us. The great matches are often followed by unbelievably poor ones and we must say he has been enormously lucky for all the year long and we don´t think he can have that luck in crucial moments henceforward. He will play German hard-courter Benjamin Becker. It must be said that Becker is also not at his best and his current form is questionable. Becker's primary weapon is solid serve along with powerful groundstrokes. He grew up on hard courts and loves fast surfaces. His latest results weren’t convincing but he still shouldn´t be such a big dog here and odds above 3.0 are good enough for us. |
