| Analysis | Head-to-head record 15:2 This may look like a crazy pick but Federer is not fully fit and still struggles with the back injury. Furthermore, Andy Roddick has already managed to beat Roger Federer this year. It would be a wasting of time to praise both of these players as we have already written a lot about both of them. Roddick played well in the first round against Murray and even if he didn´t serve his best scoring just 3 aces during the match, he wasn´t much worse than Murray. Federer, on the other hand, only played well in the first set against Frenchman Gilles Simon. He lost 6–4, 4–6, 3–6 and Simon becomes just the second man to defeat Roger Federer in the Round Robbin stage of the Tennis Masters Cup. But we think that Roddick is able to keep the match close if he serves his best and with a bit of luck he can become the third man ever to defeat Federer in RR stage. Bearing in mind that Federer is not hundred percent fit for the match, we think that Roddick´s odds above 4.5 are just too high. It is worth trying for the lowest stake. |
