Roko Karanusic started this season in a solid way (he won tournament in Belgrade) but the clay matches put him back to ground. His grass season wasn‘t better and then he spent most of the year on clay challengers. He played on clay in Graz in the end of July and it will be extremely difficult for him to quickly adapt to the new surface in USA. He has never achieved any major success on ATP tour and lacks experience from big matches against top players. His 2008 record is poor and we don´t think he will be able to improve his statistics here. Sweeting played 3 good matches in qualies here (won over Amritraj, Pless and Kim), he is able to improve his bad season in New York and should be favourite in this match. These odds could be taken.
