| Analysis | Head-to-head record 0:0 Juan Monaco of Argentina will face Russian youngster Mischa Zverev in the second round of New Haven tournament. Monaco is coming from Beijing Olympic tournament where he lost to Cilic (1:2). Surface in New Haven isn´t his favourite one as his style of play is best tailored for clay courts. Playing with a strong two-handed backhand, well-angled topspin strokes, fast mobility on the court, solid defense, and a preference to play from the deep court, he became one of the best clay court players in the game. Hard courts predispositions and first round warm-up - that all speaks in favour of Russian. We were really impressed by way Zverev played in his first round match. He defeated Florent Serra from France in good style. We think that Mischa Zverev has a great future ahead of him and this tournament is important for his future career. We see the good chances on Russian side and current odds have a value for us. |
