Kateryna Bondarenko started the season in a very bad shape having the record of 7-12 but she caught the second breath last week in Birmingham where she won the tournament by defeating Wickmayer in the final. Even if she played well last week, she seemed to be tired at the end of the week and her today´s match will be difficult in terms of fitness. Her opponent will be experienced Tamarine Tanasugarn. She turned professional in 1994, and has been in the top twenty in both singles and doubles. Her highest WTA ranking has been World Number 19. She always preferred fast surfaces and felt comfortable on grass. In her career, Tanasugarn has defeated former number ones Amélie Mauresmo and Jennifer Capriati. She has a lot of experience and her current form is not bad as she advanced from the qualifiers here. Odds around 3 are worth taking for the lowest stake.
