Analysis

Head-to-head record 1:0

Everything can happen here and we think the odds should be around 2. Well, Kohlschreiber´s latest run wasn’t impressive though but he still has the better YTD record than his Spanish opponent and we don’t think he should be such an underdog today. Furthermore, Robredo showed some horrible tennis against Roddick last week and we were really frustrated watching him there. We think he is currently far from his best and should have hard times against German number 1. Kohlschreiber is an offensive baseliner but plays well on all surfaces. His best results come from hard courts but he achieved some solid results on clay as well (eg. played quarters in Monte Carlo last year). Last week, he defeated Acasuso and the fellow countryman Nicolas Kiefer in Rome to be defeated by Davydenko in the third round. Simply said, his current form is at least comparable to Spaniard´s form, his YTD record is better and he plays in front of his home crowd. We don´t think that Kohlschreiber should be above 2.0 here and see the value in current odds.
