| Analysis | Head-to-head record 0:0 French veteran, Sebastien de Chaunac, will face Denis Gremelmayr of Germany in the first round of Zagreb Indoors. Both of them are challenger-level players who lack experience from big events. Gremelmayr has achieved a bit better results in his career. He turned pro in 2000 and reached World No. 97 in 2006. He spent 2007 in the top-200 and finished the year at No.119. In 2008 so far he has reached the 2nd Round of the Australian Open, where he defeated by the unseeded American, Vince Spadea. His other results are hardly worth mentioning and we think he will have a hard work with French qualifier today. De Chaunac is currently far from his best but he likes indoors conditions and should feel comfortable in Zagreb. He came through the qualifiers here and we believe he will be able to keep it close against German. His main strengths are big serve and aggressive forehands. It should be difficult to break him and with a bit of luck, he should be able to make it through to the second round here. |
