| Analysis | Head-to-head 0:0 Cirstea is a very similar player to Morita who was described bellow. She is a Romanian youngster with great future ahead of her. She achieved her first big success in Budapest in April where she came from qualifiers and got into the finals where she lost to Dulko in the third set. She managed to defeat among others Nagy, Muller, Daniilidou or Knapp at this tournament and these results gave her self-confidence she needed. Her YTD record looks really good – 37 wins/14 losses. Her US Open mission failed in the first qualifying round against unranked Alison Riske of United States but she proved that it was just a sporadic failure as she dominated in both qualifying rounds. Her movement and power are world-class and even when she lacks experience we think that her times will come very soon. It is only the matter of time when she breaks into the top 50. She will face Anastasia Rodionova of Russia in the first round. Russian girl seems to be out of form this season and her results aren’t even mediocre. She won just 15 from 38 matches she played this season and hasn’t shown any improvements lately. Cirstea should be a lear favourite in this match and odds above 1.8 could be worth taking here. |
