Analysis for Tsonga-Bopanna (Beijing)

This may look as a crazy pick for at the first sight but we do expect a tight match which could be decided in tie-breaks. Both players are capable to hold their serve when they play their best and we just think that Tsonga is a bit overvalued in this match. We must recognize at full value that Tsonga is a player of much bigger potential but he is still not a top player in our opinion and Bopanna´s odds around 6 are simply too high. Tsonga made several good results this year (especially on hard courts and grass) but Bopanna shouldn’t be underestimated. His serve is pretty good and it won´t be easy for Frenchman to break him through. Bopanna is going to play almost on his home soil and if he catches the beginning of the match, he should be able to hold his serves and ranking difference usually gets thinner in tiebreakers. We will try to back Bopanna for the smallest possible stake.
