| Analysis | Head-to-head record 1:0 Our next pick will be the match between David Nalbandian of Argentina and Alejandro Falla of Colombia. David Nalbandian has had very bad result this year sofar. Well, his record of 14:13 doesn't seem to be so horrible, but for a player with such quality and past result it isn't really favourable balance. He hasn't advanced among 8 best in any tournament yet, but he fall out four times in the first round! He showed a very bad performance in his last match in Los Angeles where he lost to average player Kunitsyn (6:7, 5:7). Colombian player Alejandro Falla is considered to be a classic clay courter. He grew up on clay but his appearances are deceptive - with his decent serve and agressive play from base line he was able to surprise many specialist on hard surface. We can mention his March win over Tommy Haas (Miami) or Benjamin Becker (Indian Wells) and very good match played against Ljubicic (7:6, 4:6, 4:6 in Indian Wells). We think that despite of questionless quality of Argentinian, Falla has much bigger chance than odds show. We will try to bet on his win - small stake (2 points). |
