| Analysis | With our next pick, we are moving to WTA tour - we chose the hard court match between Catalina Castano of Colombia and Brenda Schultz-McCarthy of Netherlands. Castano hasn´t had the best season sofar. She can't be content with herself with balance 13:16 and she usually gets her best on clay. If we focus only on hard surfaces, her balance is 2:8 as from Australian Open. She lost to such players such as Domachowska, Fedossova or Benesova. On the other hand, Brenda Schultz-McCarthy is a pleasant surprise for us this year (balance 25:15). This Dutch old timer (in their 36 she certainly is) played couple of virtuous tournaments this year and her form has rising tendency. Namely, she excellently managed traditional challenger in Surbiton (she won), but also consequent tournament in Birmingham (she won to Cibulkova and Brandi, lost to King) is appreciable. We belive she has hold her form in tournament in Cincinnati, she will manage her slight decrease of physical condition and that she avails her advantage (fierce and accurate hit) and she will defeat Castano. We consider Dutchwoman in this match to be reasonable favorite and odds above 2 surely has value. |
