Analysis

Head-to-head record 0:4

This should be a tight match and we don´t expect too many breakpoint opportunities. Both of these players rely on a big serve and we expect at least one tiebreak today. Mahut had a terrible start of this season and his best result from the first 16 tournaments was the third round in Indian Wells where he was demolished by Murray. The current odds are strongly influenced by his final appearance in London. It was the best tournament of his life - he defeated Kunitsyn, Bjorkman, Ljubicic, Nadal, Clement and was beaten by Roddick in the very close final. If he didn´t play at Quenns Club, today´s odds would probably be equal. Dupuis is a very experienced player who prefers fast surfaces and is able to hold his serve in almost all circumstances. He spent the majority of this year on challenger circuit but his record his pretty impressive indeed. He won 3 tournaments out of 6 tournaments he played and added 2 more semifinal appearances. He came through the qualifiers in Newport and defeated Economidis in the first round. We think that Mahut is a bit overvalued in this match and odds should be set and the level of 55:45 in Mahut´s favour. Current odds on Dupuis could be worth taking.

Final result: 6:3,6:7,6:1 - wager won
