Teimuraz Gabashvili started this season in a solid way but the clay matches put him back to ground. His grass season was better and even when his YTD grass court record is 1-3, he playd several solid matches and lost to tough opponents. His style of play is about power and he prefers faster surfaces. When he has got his day, it is very hard to break his serve on grass. Futhermore, he is much more experienced from big matches and played several top players this year. Match practise on this surface is also big advantage for him. His opponent will be Roko Karanusic who spent most of the year on clay challengers. He played in Turin last week and it will be extremely difficult for him to quickly adapt to the new surface in USA. He has never achieved any major success on ATP tour and laks experience from big matches against top players. His YTD record is poor and we don´t think he will be able to improve his statistics on grass. Gabashvili should be the clear favourite in this match and these odds could be taken.
