| Analysis | Head-to-head record 4:1 Nadal shocked us yesterday but it was the same story again. Berdych wasn´t strong enough to play against the big wind. Nadal took advantage of his fitness and assimilated better to windy conditions. Berdych was very disappointed with the level of performance he showed after the match and he was aware that he presented second and third set to Nadal. When asked about Nadal´s chances to win Wimbledon, he smiled and said that he favours other players. We agree with him and even if Nadal is back in a great shape, we think that Djokovic´s odds are just too high. It seems to us like bookies forgot Nadal´s previous matches against Youzhny and Soderling. He should be the favourite of this match but odds above 4 are worth taking without any doubts. Young Serbian is a talented player with similar style of play like Berdych. He can play well on all surfaces and he has already beaten Nadal on hard court this year. Nadal is unbeatable on clay but the same cannot be said about grass. We will try to back Djokovic at these odds. Final result: 3:6,6:1,4:1 ret. - wager lost |
