Analysis

Head to head record 0:0

We tried to back on young french star in this first-round match. Laurent Recouderc is a very promising player who won 26 from the last 27 matches on clay. Even if he has been playing mainly on Futures circuit sofar, he is a natural born claycourter with excelent movement and enormously quick legs and he could get through the first round in Paris. He is still young and just about to achieve the first big victory in his carrer. He showed a good form in qualifiers defeating Mertl, Sluiter and Guzman. On the other hand, Sam Querrey is a typical American player who prefers as fast surfaces as possible. We cant´t say he lacks match practise this year since he tried to play on clay as much as possible. But his YTD clay record is 2-5 and we don´t expect him to achieve any success on clay in Paris. Recouderc´s odds above 2.3 could be taken here.

Final result: 6:7,6:2,0:6,7:6,3:6 - wager won
