Analysis

Head-to-head record 0:0

Italian player Fabio Fognini is a typical claycourter with everything he needs for playing on the slowest surface. Even if he is not a top player and he will hardly be anytime, he is playing well in French Open qualifiers and we think he will advance to the main draw without any problems. He is one of the best players in qualifiers and he has already defeated Berrer and Kubot in qualifiers without losing a single set. This is the first time he would play the opening round in Paris which is the best motivation for him. On the other hand, German bomber Rainer Schuettler hates clay and his best times passed over long time ago. His lifetime best in Paris is 4th round (2003) but we would be very surprised if he repeats such a good result. His YTD record on clay is 1-4 and he struggled against Roesch and Karanusic in firts two qualifying rounds. His play lacks weapons that every player needs for clay and we think that Fognini is a big favourite in this match. Relatively small stake was chosen because of small odds.

Final result: 6:7,6:1,6:1 - wager won
