| Analysis | Head-to-head record 0:0 We chose the match between Romanian youngster Ioana Raluca Olaru and Amerinan Vania King today. Olaru is a talented player with bright future in front of her. Even if she has been playing mainly smaller tournaments on ITF Women's Circuit , her YTD record is pretty impressive (18 wins - 5 losses). The same can be said about her carrer record (90-30). Her best result was achived in Memphis where she advanced to the semifinals losing 3-6, 2-6 to Venus Williams. This was on hard courts but she is playing well on clay as well - she won 9 of 10 matches on European clay this year. Great movement, speed and enormous self-confidence are her main weapons. Olaru has already won 4 matches here in Fes without losing a single set. Her opponent will be 18-years old typical American player Vania King who considers hard courts as her favourite surface. Her YTD record is 9-10 (losing both matches on clay sofar). Vania King defeated Mouthassine here in Marocco but we are not taking this match into account since Mouthassine hasn´t play a single match for almost 2 years. Olaru´s odds aren´t impressive but still should be worth taking. Final result: 6:4, 6:2 - wager won |
