Analysis

Head-to-head record 0:2

It is said that Radek Stepanek is a player without the big talent but he has been working enormously hard to get on to the top positions. His biggest weapon is a big serve and pretty good dropshots. He is capable to achieve successes on all surfaces. Stepanek finally recovered from the long-lasting back injury and he is now on his way back to the top 10. According to his own words, he gotover the hardest times in his career and he is now fully fit and ready to come back. He is a big fighter and we believe that he will manage to get there! He demolished Gael Monfils in the first round here in Monte Carlo and he seems to be in a good form indeed. His opponent, the big serving Croat Ivan Lubicic , hates this slow surface and he has never achieved any remarkable success on clay which is not suitable for his attacking baseline play. We expect a tight match here and chances should be 50:50. Anything above 2.0 is worth of considering here.
