| Analysis | Head-to-Head record 0-0 Juan Monaco seems to be totally out of form. His last performance in Sunrise challenger was really disastrous. He lost in the first round to his countryman Del Porto in straight sets (1:6,2:6). His style of play bases on playing from the backcourt which is usually not effective on fast surfaces and he doesn´t like to play against heavy-hitting opponents. Haase is a rising star whose style of play bases on the good serving. He is a smart player who tries to outplay his opponents by changes of rythm and pace. He has maybe a bit worse movement on the courts when compared to Monaco, but the fast surface in Miami is much more suitable for him. On the contrary, Monaco, as the vast majority of Argentinians, considers red clay as his favourite surface and he has had impressive results just on this surface so far. It should also be mentioned that Haase came through qualification rounds in Miami pretty easily. Monaco is much more experienced player but insisting on current results, current form and on the surface in Miami, we consider Robin Haase to be a clear favourite in this clash. |
